Victim Services

The Victim Services Program coordinates the investigations and prosecutions of child abuse cases including sexual abuse as well as severe physical abuse. The Victim Services Program coordinates the multi-disciplinary team response to these cases by coordinating victim-sensitive interviews, pre- and post-interview team staffings, conducting follow-up case reviews and entering case information into a state-of-the-art computerized case tracking system. Follow up contact and legal advocacy are also provided.

Julie Brenner – Case Manager/Intake Coordinator

Receives the referrals, notifies all involved agencies, and coordinates the interview; conducts the pre- and post-interview staffing; schedules the case review; tracks the case through investigation phase.

Marisol Tischman – Lead Forensic Interviewer

Conducts Interviews.

Marianne Boykin – Part- time Forensic Interviewer

Conducts Interviews.

Tonya Shanks and Linda Langejans – Victim Advocates

Takes assignment of the case once charges are authorized and supports the victim and the non-offending family members throughout the court process.

Kelly Middleton – Administrative Assistant
